Board & Miniatures Games Games Workshop 4 Comments
Talking about Games Workshop … my girlfriend was is in town today and rang me to ask if I needed anything; I asked her to get me a tub of basing sand from the Games Workshop store (I very rarely darken the door of a GW store as I don’t play their miniatures games, but I do paint miniatures for boardgames).
She squared her shoulders against the sensory onslaught of heavy metal music and smelly pubescent boys, walked in and asked for a tub of sand. The guy behind the counter looked at her and said:
“He sent you on a mission didn’t he?”

Hilarious! Did she get any treasure or HP from the encounter?

See there Guy, you’ve betrayed your age by your amusing Dungeons & Dragons reference! It’s all miniatures tabletop wargames these days, no kids are into pen-and-paper roleplaying anymore! 🙂

Hey, you made me look like an idiot in the office. I was laughing while doing some excel thing (at least that’s what my co-workers thought).

Hi There,
Well today we had our own very similar experience in reverse.
I sent Glen to get a pair of Red Sparkly Tights for Rebecca from a very fashionable womens store in town.
When Glen arrived at the store he told the lady he was there to pick up a pair of pink leggings. The lady looked at him a little confused and said sorry sir we have set aside these Red Thighs as your wife requested would that be what you are looking for?
